Condition: Very good, mounted to board, not framed. Comment: This piece gives me a good opportunity to underline something for my faithful readers. As a dealer in American illustration artwork, there are often pictures that come through here which I'd be more than happy to keep for my personal collection. But, as a small business, doing so is almost never in the cards. Sure, it was the subject matter that grabbed me at first, but the way in which the watercolor and detailing are handled kept me smitten. I'm always somewhat sad to see a picture of this quality sell, but doing so assures me that others share my tastes. Price: $3,750.
