Condition: Very good, not framed.

Comment: As billboards sprung up across the country; that is not just in the cities... the need for illustrators who could present the advertisers product to a populace that was literally in motion grew rapidly. Includes printed calendar. Plenty were good and plenty were not, but Scott can certainly be counted as one of the greats. With his depiction of American types, the ability to create the straightforward ideas that sold product and his great technique, Scott stayed in demand, painting for scores of the top advertisers of the day.
