Description: World War I ambulance crossing battlefield.

Condition: Very good excepting repair to horizontal area of loss approximately 2” from top edge and small areas of loss in lower left. Framed

Comment: Soulen’s storytelling style and compositional strength are reminiscent of both his teacher, Howard Pyle and his contemporary, Harvey Dunn.
