Description: Couple – Man in wet suit, she with towel.

Publication information: Paperback book cover art for Go to the Widow-maker by James Jones published by Dell Books as #2942 in 1968.

Literature: An image of the paperback appears in James Bama: American Realist, by Brian M. Kane, published by Flesk Publications, 2006.

Medium: Oil on board

Size: 13.75 x 13”

Signature: signed lower right.

Condition: Excellent condition. As of this writing, a frame is on order. The photographs here do not show the framing.

Comment: Those of you who watch Bama’s prices at auction will know that if the man in this picture were wearing western garb, rather than a wetsuit, one could count on multiplying the price by a number between two and ten. A copy of the James Jones book is included with purchase of the artwork.
