Eve Post serial” Publication information: One-sheet movie poster design for Floods of Fear, released by Universal-International Pictures, 1959. Literature: For a discussion of the career of Brown, see Reynold Brown: A Life in Pictures by David Hornung and Dan Zimmer, published by The Illustrated Press, 2008. This, the published one-sheet version of the movie poster, is not reproduced in the book. Medium: Gouache Size: 18.25 x 11.5” Signature: signed, lower right. Condition: Slight lifting of pasted-down type and compositional elements. Overall good, not framed. Comment: A fine example of the type of image that made Brown probably the most popular movie poster artist of the period. Price: $4,900.
