Description: Blonde with gun and shadow
Comment: Redmond was a mainstay, in fact seems to have had an exclusive contract for a time, with Real Detective, and having just looked at a series of the covers online, I maintain that this is the best piece he did for the publication. The magazine itself seems to have transitioned well from more of a straight-forward portrait format to topics that were a bit more, let’s say, “emblematic.” As an aside I also I have here the cover art for the March 1932 issue, though from a different source so I can’t offer a package deal. A full copy of the magazine accompanies the purchase of the artwork.
Price: $8,150 (+ $100 domestic shipping)
