Description: Cattle rustler apprehended by woman rancher
Comment: Lyman Anderson made a substantial mark in the general interest magazines starting in the mid-1930's. I have a fondness for pulp cover art generally and that's an arena in which Lyman excelled. The colors are so pure and the story-telling direct without being overblown. Doesn't hurt that there's a strong female rancher either. He's really hitting on all cylinders here. Recently cleaned and freshly varnished. I do not have a copy of the magazine to accompany, but haven't really tried to acquire one either. Note: As of this moment, the original is at Scarlow's Gallery on West 2nd St. here in Casper. It is still available and should be back here soon. Let me know if you need a better photo.
