Teale, Earle G.

Print
Price: $2,850.00

Description: World War I dogfight

Comment: It's very unusual to see Teale's artwork appear on the market. He did his share of advertising works for fine automobiles and the like. I was curious about his dying so young and was just reminded that he was struck and killed by a New York City taxi in 1919. The piece I'm offering is something I sold previously… and for a lot more than the current asking price. The former owner died (nope, no taxi involved) and I managed to get it back to offer it again. This illustrated a World War I story just months prior to the end of the conflict. A full copy of the magazine accompanies purchase of the artwork.

Price: $2,850 (includes domestic shipping)
